Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AEGYZ LTD ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our store or make a purchase. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data controller: AEGYZ LTD, Company Number 17251941, 46 Throwley Way, Sutton, Surrey, England, SM1 4AF · aegyz4503@gmail.com

1. Data we collect

  • Order data: your name, email address, billing address, and details of the products you purchase.
  • Payment data: processed securely by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments or PayPal). We never see or store your full card details.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and how you use the site, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email or through the site.

2. How and why we use your data

  • To fulfil your order — delivering your download links and receipts (legal basis: performance of a contract).
  • To provide support — responding to questions and resolving file issues (legitimate interests / contract).
  • To meet legal obligations — tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
  • To improve our store — understanding how the site is used (legitimate interests).
  • Marketing — we will only send marketing emails if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email (consent).

3. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers who help us run the store: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, and email delivery services. These providers process data on our behalf under contract. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. We never sell your personal data.

4. Cookies

Our store uses cookies that are necessary for it to function (such as keeping items in your cart and completing checkout) and, where enabled, analytics cookies that help us understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout from working.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep order records for as long as needed to provide your downloads and to meet legal requirements (typically 6 years for tax and accounting records in the UK). Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your query and maintain a record of it.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, correct it, request its deletion, restrict or object to its processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email aegyz4503@gmail.com. We will respond within one month.

If you're not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

7. Children

Our store is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with any material changes highlighted.
